DWTC Hub Intranet
Dubai World Trade Centre's employee portal — people search, HR forms, events, approvals, digital business cards and an AI chatbot — which I built on, maintained and extended.

The brief
Employee tools were scattered across systems. DWTC wanted a single hub that felt like one product on desktop and on phones, and a team that would keep improving it after launch.
What I built
A central intranet bringing together Azure AD user search with organisational hierarchy, HR forms, event management, an approvals workflow and digital business cards.
Built with ReactJS, Redux Toolkit and MSAL for Microsoft sign-in, on top of SharePoint Online for the organisation's content and documents, and wrapped in a React Native WebView app with Firebase push notifications so it reaches people on their phones.
Keeping it alive
I maintained the portal in production and kept adding features as the business asked for them. The biggest was Nafaa, a chatbot wired to the ChatGPT API with the hub's own context, so candidates and staff get answers about jobs, policies and events without waiting on HR.
Outcomes
- Six employee tools under one roof
- Same portal on desktop and mobile with push notifications
- An AI chatbot answering candidate queries from the hub's own knowledge
