AI Recruitment
An eight-step AI hiring pipeline for Dubai World Trade Centre that replaced Oracle Recruiting Cloud: job descriptions, weighted skill scoring, candidate sourcing, invitations and automated shortlisting.

The brief
Replace Oracle Recruiting Cloud with an AI-assisted platform that could write the job description, find and rank candidates, and run first-round interviews without a recruiter on the call.
The pipeline
1. Job intake — the recruiter picks a job and its listing details. 2. Job description — generated through the ChatGPT API from default requirements or custom ones the recruiter adds. 3. Keywords and skills — extracted from that description and rated, so the skills that matter most carry more marks. 4. Resume scoring — every resume is marked against those weighted skills.
5. Sourcing — candidates come in from several channels: RocketReach, Google search and scraping, handled by the backend. 6. Invitations — shortlisted candidates are invited to interview. 7. Interview setup — the admin uses default questions generated by ChatGPT or writes their own. 8. Voice interview and shortlist — candidates answer live, each answer earns credits for its value, and the top of the list is shortlisted automatically.
My part
The whole frontend in ReactJS and Redux Toolkit behind Azure AD sign-in, and the integration of every step with the backend's ChatGPT API flows and sourcing. The live voice interview was mine end to end on the client side: a WebSocket connection carries the questions, the recording and the scoring in real time.
Outcomes
- Oracle Recruiting Cloud replaced
- Eight steps from job intake to shortlist, automated end to end
- Weighted skill scoring instead of keyword matching
